Days 2-4
Cooking School
Pay close attention while Chef Khun Somphon reveals the secrets of Thai cooking in the relaxed atmosphere of his family home. Get an introduction to essential Thai ingredients, including how to store and prepare them. A cooking demonstration is followed by a delicious lunch. Pick up a mortar and pestle to make traditional Thai pastes and prepare a khantohk feast all on your own. Then, sit down cross-legged (men) or with legs demurely folded (ladies) and enjoy.
Climb up to Doi Suthep Temple, visit the Tribal Museum or drop in on some of the many other attractions around Chiang Mai.
