Days 1-3Playa Del CarmenWelcome to Playa del Carmen, a beach paradise on the Caribbean coast. Visit the nearby island of Cozumel or take a day trip to the seaside ruins of Tulum for a taste of what's in store.
Days 4-5Caye CaulkerExplore colourful underwater worlds from the laid-back island of Caye Caulker.
Days 6-7San IgnacioHead into the caves of Tunichil Muknal where 1,400-year-old Mayan relics lay hidden. For the more active, grab a canoe or go tubing.
Days 8-9Flores/TikalIt's hard not to be charmed by Flores' cobblestone streets, brightly coloured houses and relaxed lifestyle.
